It's been a while since I got so excited over an album.
Just like the title of this post. I'm recommending Adele's amazing album,21.
I don't quite know how to put my words into givin' a well deserved album review. I don't think my words do justice to her. Lol. pssst: Check JMensah's review of 21here! and wwadh's review here!
Anyway,
If you like 19, you're gonna fall heads over heels for 21. Trust me.
If you like Make You Feel My Love, you'll dig Lovesong. Definitely.
If you have no idea about Adele, check out the 1st single out of 21, Rolling In The Deep below.
Do you get me? I've been playing this album nonstop daily and that is a true testament of how much I love 21. No lie! :P
I don't understand why she's walking/running away from such a hottie 0.o! Anyway, this song deserves to be huge, if Girlfriend is your cup of tea, What The Hell doesn't disappoint one bit.
Swede-Pop! What's not to love? The chorus is amazing. All thanks to Paul!
Britney - Hold It Against Me
Britney is back! I'm sorry Brit for dissing this track when it was leaked. I was foolish back then. Now I can't get enough of the gorgeous middle 8 dubstep-ish breakdown.
Tim Berg - Seek Bromance
Ah, house music. Can't stop playing this track. BTW lovely video, anal and vaginal sex!YAY!
The Naked & Famous - Punching In A Dream
Very MGMT-esque and that's a good thing. Guess who's going to see MGMT this March? :) Thanks wwadh for highlighting them.
Le Kid - Mercy Mercy
Got to know about this song from Paul's TOP 35 tracks of 2010. Bloody brilliant I must say. I'm a big fan of this kinda track that give out the "sunshine all around" vibe. Makes me happy :)
The Naked and Famous - Young Blood
I love everything about this song. Definitely one of my favorites. It reminds me of all the good times with my friends X) Electro-indie-pop? LOVE!
Salem Al-Fakir - Split My Personality (Bassflow Remix)
Salem didn't disappoint. The beat and bass in this song just get me going and going and going in a good way. And it builds till it burst into the chorus. It's beautiful, just beautiful.
Avril Lavigne - What The Hell
What the hell?! How can you not love this song? Wait, how can I not love this song?
P!nk - Fuckin' Perfect
She's rollin' the fuckin' perfect 2nd single. I must say I'm lovin' this a lot and it reminds me of a more pop version of Whoknew. And Whoknew is a pretty darn fly song. So this make Fuckin' Perfect another pretty darn fly song in my book. Great job, P!nk!
Young The Giant - My Body
Another indie rock band that I discovered while blog hoppin'. And I must say their kinda music suits my kinda music palate. Oh yeah. Cause I want more!
Flight Facilities - Crave You feat Giselle
Laidback-electro? I don't know but this is very unique song which I find to be very lovely. The piano is just class. So is the breakdown of electro beats after the 2nd chorus. Love Giselle's voice :)
Rihanna - What's My Name? feat Drake
I find myself humming to this song sometimes. That's all. "It's Rihanna, dear."
Happy New Year everyone :) I just want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful year ahead :)
Back to the music. THIS is the 1st track this year that I'm going gaga for. That's why I'm in love with year end list, so many new discovery and gem. Good for the soul..
Matisse - Better Than Her feat. Akon
Gaga-much? Ah, love it.
BTW have you check out my best of 2010 list? If not, please clickhere.
Here goes nothing. The final part of my Top 30 Songs of 2010!
10. Kylie Minogue's Get Outta My Way
Crashing into #10 and we have the Royal Pop Highness, Kylie! This year, Aphrodite deliver and "Get Outta My Way" is a perfect summary of what she does best, dance-pop. The perfect summer single with a hint of attitude! She showed us what she's made of and I must say that I want more, more, more!!Love:) More from Kylie: All The Lovers

9. Sophie Ellis-Bextor VS Armin van Buuren's Not Giving Up On Love
I have always been a big fan of Sophie's vocal and when she decided to paired up with one of the world famous trance DJ, they gave birth to this, an 2:53 minutes of pure audio magic. Vocal trance at its best! More from Sophie Ellis-Bextor: Bittersweet

8. Eminem's Love The Way You Lie feat Rihanna
One of the most recognizable chorus this year and it's not about partying (cue "Tik Tok" and "California Gurls")!! How about that? You gotta give Eminem tons of credit finding the perfect partner to sing a song about abusive relationship! Eminem rap it best: "You don't get another chance, life is no Nintendo game." That's so true.

7. Robyn's Dancing On My Own
I'm in the corner, watching you kiss her. (Robyn, stalker much?) I'm right over here, why can't you see me. (With your bleach white hair and he still can't notice you? Show off some of your dance moves! Good luck!) I'm givin' it my all, but I'm not the girl you're takin' home. (You said he can't notice you, how can he take you home then? Wait, you want him to take you home for!?! hehe :P I keep dancing on my own. (You go to a club all by yourself? Oh my.Bring some of your girlfriends yo! You don't need a man to have fun!) Gawd honest heartbreak electro-pop. Can't get any better than that. Apart from that, Body Talk is definitely one of the best album this year too! More from Robyn: Indestructible (Remix) and Hang with Me.

6. Paramore's The Only Exception
One of my personal favorite this year. I remember getting hooked after listening it for the first few times. Haley's vocal is surprisingly pleasant and nice when she's not screaming. And the lyrics, hits home, hard. Nuff' said.
-----
5. Lady Antebellum's Need You Now
I'm not a country fan but "Need You Now" manage to steal my heart for having the lyrics that I can relate to.With lines like "And I wonder if I ever cross your mind, for me it happens all the time" and that chorus about drunk dialing is bull-eyes!! *sigh* who doesn't have an embarrassing incident with drunk dialing? LOL.

4. B.O.B's Nothing On You feat Bruno Mars
B.O.B come out from nowhere and now he's ruling the airways with not just one but 2 mega hit of the year. But I have to say that this song would not succeed as big without the help from Bruno Mars' smooth buttery vocal. It gives me *butterflies* when I first listen to it. God knows how much I love this song. More from B.O.B: Airplanes feat Hayley Williams

3. Bruno Mars' Just The Way You Are
Just when I thought "Nothin' On You" is one of the most sweetest song this year, Bruno Mars released this "boyband" R&B/pop song of the year. The romantic lyrics, that smooth voice, the song arrangement and that uber sweet chorus. And I melt. How can you not?~ *You gotta be kidding me if you don't think this is a staple boyband song*I can totally see The Wanted rocking out to this song. Bruno Mars' star continue to shine with the release of another awesome single, "Grenade". More from Bruno Mars: Grenade

2. Katy Perry's Teenage Dream
I must say that "Teenage Dream" is one of Katy Perry's best track to date even when she's saying/screaming it one. word. by. one. word. during the catchy chorus rather than actually singing it. But what the hell, if it's an ace track, no one cares much. I can't say the same thing about this song when she performed it live though. *annoyed* I must say whoever that wrote/produce this song deserve a virtual bow and warm hugs from mua for their contribution to the music world. More from Katy Perry: Firework
Glee Cast (Darren Criss' version)
You can't escape the Glee-mania no matter where you go. And to say that Katy Perry's original version is awesome, Darren Criss' Glee version is way superior. No doubt about that. And to have this song sing by a gay guy to another gay guy in a hit television musical/drama show about the underdogs. It's just the delicious icing on the cake for this year! *yum*
----- and drum roll please.
1. Rihanna's Only Girl (In The World)
I must say, Rihanna redeemed herself by releasing this dance-pop gem after the experimental "Rated R" era. By taking a page from the awesome house-trance influenced "Don't Stop The Music" and make it more heavy in synth and bass, pulsating beats and soaring vocals, they created a monstrous single, perfect for her comeback to pop. And I welcome her back to the glorious World of Pop. *me being random* This is how I like my Rihanna, fun, energetic, sexy and seductive. More from Rihanna: Rude Boy, What's My Name?
That's it folks! 2010 have been great in the music world and I can't wait for all the possible goodies and surprises in 2011, especially from Lady Gaga!
