Friendship

Since when a friend is not a friend anymore?

Do you bitch about each other behind the back?

Do you start to spill all the supposedly secrets?

Or other mean and unthoughtful stuff to each other?

I hope that I don't do that.

If I ever do that in the future,
I hope that I would have the conscious to stop whatever that I'm doing at that time.

I'm not that kind of person and I don't want to be that kind of person.

Just because a friendship or relationship ends does not mean that the other person is a bad person.
Nor does it mean that the other person is a jerk/assh*le or crazy.
Nor does it mean that the other person never cared about you or any of those things we often say.
It simply means that it wasn’t meant to work out and though it is horrible and unfortunate and sometimes heartbreaking, it’s NOT the end of the world.
Other friends will come along, other boyfriends and girlfriends will come along. Sometimes things just aren’t meant to be.
And that has to be OKAY.

It has to be okay because otherwise what do we have?

— Samantha Mott

You were my best friend and now, it seems like we don't know each other.

It still hurts.

I wish I knew how to repress everything.

I know it takes time. Lots of it.

Things has to be okay.

I know it. I'm gonna take all my time to be okay with it.

Brothers and Sisters

I've been working 12 days straight and one more day tomorrow before having one day break on this Sunday.

Waking up 7 in the morning and coming back around 8pm or 10pm (depending on the mercy of the KL traffic and the public bus) everyday is not fun.

The time you spent waiting for the bus or stuck inside the bus especially during the jam is seriously tiring.

Luckily my job is simple. Sell the tix if someone wants to buy it.
Other than that, I can basically surf the net, watch dramas, jam to songs and play James's Nintendo DS (Pokemon Platinum).
Basically its what I would do if I'm at home.
I'm so grateful for this job.
If not, I would have wasted 2months of my holiday sitting at home waiting for my already fat ass get fatter!

Well, there isn't much thingy going on around here at Istana Budaya.

Yesterday, it's just so sweet that one of my buddy drop by after his interview in MidValley for a late lunch here with me. Seriously, I just realized how much I'm being myself when I talked to him. I don't hold back anything that I wanted to say/share. Whatever crap or those inappropriate comment that I blast out will be received with a good laugh from both party.

I never thought it would be like this since I'm more of those kinda guy who would usually keep everything to myself, I don't really like to talk about myself. =) At least to strangers only lah.

And when I'm on my way back. I met one of my primary school friend.
We talk like there's no one else in the bus with us. It's great. Laughing. Updating on each others life. Well, he's very chatty these days. He's very funny and open minded too.

He told me what's happening with him these days. Same old same old but when he mentioned about the girl that he fancy. It seems that the family don't approve of the relationship just because the fact she have a different religious belief from him.

Aih, totally expected.

It's already so difficult to find someone that you actually like and he/she actually like you back at the same time.

And for a stupid reason (having different religous beliefs) you have to give up on someone that might just be the love of your life, all for the sake of other people's (i.e. parents or communities) "happiness" or other's concept of how you should live your life. Total BS.

It's not that I don't love my family but seriously, I do, more after I went to University.
If I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with that special someone, I think I need to have the responsibility to go and make my own decisions regarding on who I like/love or how I should live their life
AS LONG AS WHAT I'M ARE DOING IS NOT HURTING ANYBODY.

The family and communities's opinions can be take into consideration out of respect for everyone but it doesn't mean that you need to gave up on being who you are as a person just to satisfy other people opinions.

If two person who love each other wants to be together, who have the right to stop them from being together just because what someone's perception of what is normal or abnormal differs so greatly.

Don't be hatin' people.

I'm just glad I have few good GREAT friends supporting me all the way.
They are like my own Brothers and Sisters.
Understand me and not judging me for something or someone I'm not.
Thank God for that.

p/s: Just because I thanked God for this it doesn't mean that I'm religious.
I'm just more spiritual. I'm okay. Thank You.

Who would give a law to lovers? Love is unto itself a higher law. ~Boethius, The Consolation of Philosophy, A.D. 524

Korean Wave~

I've been hit by the Korean Wave ever since SzuTzane recommend me Tae Yang from Big Bang.

Oh, how I wish I could speak Korean fluently.

So I can sing-a-long to the song that I love and at least understand what are they singing about.

Actually way before that, I already like The Wonder Girls.

Their 1st single, Tell Me is incredibly catchy. The MV is so funny and cuteeeeeee.

Here are some of the Korean songs that I LOVE.

The Wonder Girls - Tell Me

The 1st Korean pop song that I love. "Tell me tell me.. te- te- te- te- te- tell me.."

------------------------------------------------

Girls Generation (SNSD) - Gee

Addictive to the best. It's very girly but POP-goodness.
This version of the video showcasing their dance moves which I think its pretty and so cuteee.

-----------------------------------------------

Seung Ri - Strong Baby

I call him the Justin Timberlake of Asia/Korea. LOL.
The style and dance move are kinda similar to JT. He's one fifth member of Big Bang.
I like the song, I like the beat and his live performance is very sleek and stylish. =) The solo, WOW. Gaya (Stylish in malay)

p/s: Crap crap crap crap.... LOL...

----------------------------------------------

Tae Yang - Look At Me

My favourite korean song ever. The vocal is smooth and the song is not too hip hop-ish.
The dance moves are slick and yeah, my type of guy. Stylish and very cute. Love the hair!
The solo dance part. One reaction: I'm in LOVE.

Nuff for now, don't feel like making this post super long. LOL. Have a nice day =)

----

I totally forgot about this group.

Big Bang - FILA

Yup, its a song for the FILA brand, seriously, I think it's way too good for a "commercial" song...

Lily Allen

Wow.

She released Fuck You as her 3rd single?

OMFG. I don't see how the song is going to receive any airplay here. HAHA.

If they're going to censored the good part, might as well don't play it.

For those who don't know anything about this song, It's not the I-fucking-hate-you that kinda vibe.

Its more of a cutesy-mix-sarcasm kinda of fuck you.

Plus, the beat for this song is so damn catchy and "summer". (Read: Addictive and Happy)

You will sing-along with it. Seriously.

Even one of my bestie who listen to Chinese songs only cos she said she don't get the lyrics of any English song, take lots of energy for her to digest the song.

BUT she absolutely LOVE this song.

Or maybe she got influenced by another bestie of mine who have quite a influence in our group.

Yup, I'm talking about you FPL. And yeah, I'm talking about our hair supermodel. =)

Here is the video for the song, supposedly promo only. =)
What's the meaning of promo only anyway? Any idea anyone?

I like the concept of the video where she goes around and change anything that she wants. =)

Cool MV.

Totally recommended.

Roasted Chicken?

I think I finally figured out whats the deal with the "Chicken" on my blog title.

chicken
· n.
1 a domestic fowl kept for its eggs or meat, especially a young one.
2 a coward.

OR according to the online slang dictionary.

chicken.
adjective

1. afraid.

Seriously, after what happened this past few days, I think I found the "answer".

The fact that I can't mutter ANYTHING out when I supposedly got some "signals" from X/Y/Z.

I'm so ANGRY and PISSED at myself.

I know I wanted to say HI so badly, but I got frozen in time and become so unapproachable and weird.

My Face = Expressionless
. I shall call "him" Mr Chicken from now on.

For those who knows me well, I'm NOT like that. Totally.

At least that's what I would love to think. =)

I don't know why I'm so CHICKEN to say anything.

It's not like I got anything to lose.

This sucks.
After some self-reflecting, I came to a conclusion of that I'm that kinda person who OVER think everything and my obsession with the the concept of perfection when meeting the "ONE".

The Fear
of REJECTION might be also part of the reason why.

At least I think that's the reason why I turn into Mr Chicken in the 1st place.

So I think I'm gonna change the blog title into something new and total random.

Roller Coaster: Laugh or Yell?

Discussed this over MSN with Princess and she managed to interpret it into something metaphorically like this...

Just like life. Its like a Roller Coaster. So you either Laugh it off happily Or Yell and despair.

It does make a lot of sense to me.

Thanks Princess =)

Nuff' ranting from me.

Thank you so much for reading.

Battle of the Summer Anthem of '09

Hm, It's not like we have "summer" here in Malaysia. We only have two seasons here. Sunny/Summer day or rainy day. Oh, you can even count in the occasionally super thunder heavy storm. It's crazy, especially the City area due to more pollutions. I still love this country even though the public transportation sucks. :S

So, what's the deal with me blogging for the supposedly "summer" anthem of the year when Malaysia is like summer all year round? Why?

Because I don't think I need a reason to blog about the songs that I love, (at least at this moments).

Okay, nuff crappin'.

My picks for the battle of the summer anthem. Hm..

David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland - When Love Takes Over

I love this track way before it's released to be a single. Glad that Kelly finally got the exposure she deserved. Her voice is like instantly recognizable. LVOE it.
Sunshine and the ocean and the beach....
Beyonce
is like all over the place these days. Sick and tired of her. LOL.

Another David Guetta song that I like is Love Is Gone (Original Mix). A big difference from the original track but still good nonetheless. Check it out.

---------------------------------

2nd song is by the Black Eyed Peas - I Gotta Feeling.

Its wayyyy better than that annoying Boom Boom Pow.
I don't get that song at all.
Maybe its cos I'm not living in 3008 and still loving 2009. Bleh...
Back to this song, it's a major improvement over their annoyin' 1st single from the new album THE E.N.D.

I LIKE THIS. (Humming along
That tonight's gonna be a good good night....)

The MusicVideo looks like fun! Partyyyyy!!!!! Glow in the Dark Paint! WOOOO...

---------------------------------

3rd choice is definitely Pitbull's - I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)

I totally dig this song even though there are some part of it which sounds like a total broken record that play the chorus over and over again.
Bet that the Spanish version is going to be more dirtyyyyy. With lots of culo thrown in. LOL.

Owh, the video. Not my kinda thing. So irrelevant. Girls shaking to the beat, He is the center of attention. Boring. Next.

Pitbull's Krazy is another fave jam of mine few years back. The clubbin scene is Malaysia especially the HipHop Club loves this track. Its like a staple song among few of the Akon and Lil' Jon's song.

The winner in my opinion....

I personally prefer the David's When Love Takes Over over the other two. The beat, it's not your typical song that got air in the local music scene here and I doubt that the Malaysia music scene will have a chance to appreciate this GEM. Except if you follow the music scene in UK.

Pitbull's - I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho) is nothing new. Still the same old hip hop rap addictive beat and repetitive chorus. Sure fire hit in the clubbin' scene. No doubt about that.

BEP's I Gotta Feeling is fresh for now. But knowing the Malaysian Radio channel that loves to play the top track at the moment over and over again in a day would bore the sh*t out of me due to over exposure of the song. Malaysian love BEP. Almost all of their singles do well here since Where Is The Love, especially My Humps. But its been a long time I don't tune to the radio anymore. No time. Malaysian will lap it up like any previous single by the BEP.

I control my own music with my beloved iPod Shuffle. It's old and only have 512mb, but its still working fine. =) Trustworthy.

Public Bus!?

Imagine yourself rushing back home after a 12-hour "work" from 9am to 9pm.
While crossing the "bridge" to reach to the other side of the road's bus stop..

You saw the incoming feeder bus that you are suppose to get on before another round of bus ride back to home sweet home.

You run as fast as you can, breathing heavily cos you don't usually do much exercise and try to get on the bus before another 40mins of waiting for the next one if you miss this one.

Guess what?

You missed the bloody bus by 3 secs and the bus driver don't really give a damn about whether you are going to wait for another 30/40mins before the next one come.

Frustrated? No?

Of course, YOU in this story is me and the fact that you don't drive nor have a car for you to drive to your work place means that you are entirely depending on the mercy of the supposedly revamp and better RapidKL public bus service.

Malaysia's public transport sucks!

BUT,

At least I got a chance to cuci mata during the 2nd round of bus waiting. That seriously made my day a lil bit better. I'm shallow, but hey, it's not like I could start a conversation with a stranger to get to know him/her better before thinking he/she is cute, right?

so, what kinda post is this? Seems very irrelevant...

Nothing much, I just want to rant. Oh, there is another 15 more days to go for me =)

People, please pray for me that I can cuci mata every now and then so at least it won't be that boring during the hourly bus ride. =)

Guilty Pleasure of The Moment - JLS

I can't help myself. This bloody song is effin catchy! Reminds me off the good old days of the boyband era.

KTBSPA!!
Apa itu KTBSPA, you ask?

Keep the Backstreet Pride Alive!!!!

BSB FTW!!

Okay, back to the latest guilty pleasure of the moment.

JLS "Beat Again"

The chorus, the part: Won't beat again, it's killing meeee.....

Catchy! Ergh. I'm supposed to out grew this Boyband phase but sadly, I'm still a sucker for this kinda "boyband" pop. A bit pai seh.. but Wateva...

The video, nothing great, dance move is so so. Just give it a listen. If you like Akon new stuff, Taylor Swift or all those POP ROCK song. You are bound to love this. I think. =) I know I do.

The Gossip! No. Its NOT about Gossip Girl.

Beth Ditto have an incredible pipe. Her voice.. Oooo.. so smooth.. and RAW. It's like.. grade A sushi? Ok, my bad, brain is very tired now, can't think of anything to describe my love for her voice. She reminds me of a ROCK version of ADELE. After spinning The Gossip latest fabu single "Heavy Cross" and fell massively in lvoe with it. Check it out!

Tell me this is NOT the most awesome plus size "Queen" lead singer you ever see. She oozes attitude. LVOE! Even the remix of the song by Fred Falke is brilliant and stand out on its own.

I don't know whats going on with me these days. I love remixes. Some of them is better than the original song, some hardly do justice to the original tune. Example of the bad remixes? Don't Ask. I hardly store those useless information in my brain.

Anyway... I can't help myself to wiki about the Gossip and found out they have a major hit before this which is "Standing in the Way of Control". Another great track. Erghh.. Punk-ish and Angry.. Emo all the way.. Okay, I'm bad with categorizing songs based on the exact genre. I don't give a shit to genre anymore. If it's nice. It's nice no matter what.

Here the video for Standing in the Way of Control.

Gaga Vs Marilyn Manson

Ok. It's like so freaking obvious I'm a BIG fan of Lady Gaga. Thats the truth wayyyyyyy before she made it big with Just Dance last year. The song had been out in the net for ages before she got recognized. Its still one of those songs that I still love, esp during clubbin time~ weee

The Fame is a great album. Love almost every track in it. Totally worth it.

The new single apart from Paparazzi, which is LoveGame is like.. naughty + kinky + lots of attitude. How can you not love a song that mentioned about a ridin in a disco stick in a song and get away with it? LOVESIT! AHHH....

Ok, so I got across this remix of her latest single LoveGame which is seriously addictive!!!!
Featuring Marilyn Manson. WTH, a totaly weird combo. BUT it works! In so many level...

Okay.
Starting from tomorrow, after rotting at home for around one and a half month, I finally got a part time job selling tix for some Indian cultural thingy in Istana Budaya. Pay is so-so nia.
And my mode of transportation is the sucky public transportation of Malaysia. BUS. Urgh. This means that I have to get out of the house 2 hours earlier and got back home 2 hours later. This also means that I gotta wake up by 6.30am and most probably got back home around 7.30pm.

The thing now, how I wish I own a lappie (that's how I call a laptop) There's basically nothing much to do there. If there is a lappie, at least I can continue masak my drama and movies.

Ugly Betty - Done
Gossip Girl - Done
True Blood - Done
Big Bang Theory - Done

Okay, nuff ranting... that's about it..

Oh.

BTW, some kid name Quinn send me a message through Youtube and asked me to watch her video.. I did and I'm very surprise at how she handle such an issue at such a young age. The future is looking okay with kids like her in this world. Equality for ALL.

Sophie Ellis Bextor & Agnes

If I have one wish for this year that is something music-related, I would wish for a 90's Dance Pop comeback in the music scene.

God of MUSIC, if there is one.
If YOU hear me, please let the good old 90's Pop be back.
I think I had enough of the 80's revival and the 60's revival in the music scene.
It's good but I've grown tired over it quite fast if you ask. Amy Winehouse's Rehab is good la... but NEXT!

Lady GaGa is the next BEST thing in Pop. She is AWESOME.
Just Dance, Poker Face, Love Game and The Fame is just AWESOMENESS!

Ladyhawke deserve more recognition cos if people love Gaga, they gotta love Ladyhawke too. She's the less skanky version of Gaga. LOL. Ladyhawke's Magic and My Delirium is pure goodness.

Little Boots's Stuck on Repeat is like the Part II of Kylie's fantabulous Can't Get You Out of My Head. Little Boots's New in Town is Okay. Nothing fantastic =.="

La Roux's In For The Kill is weird at 1st listen, but it does grow on you.
The blogger community is raving about their next single - Bulletproof. I think it's good too.

BUT

My heart belongs to Sophie Ellis Bextor latest single.

Heartbreak Makes Me A Dancer.

Princess Kimmy said she don't like it. Well I guess it's not everyone cup of tea but WTH,
I LOVE IT!
GO Sophie!

Few years back, Murder On The Dancefloor is such an infectiously great jam. I remember listening it for the 1st time over Hitz.FM and instantly fell in love with it. Ahh...

DJ, Gonna burn this goddamn house right now.

So much attitude. That accent. Ah. Lovesit. ♥

Apart from Sophie. The one who got the 90's wave of dance pop started for this year is definitely Agnes.

Seriously, this is quite the essential DANCE POP song. Catchy chorus. Nice vocal. Gotta love the violin. Enjoying the chart success in UK with a top 5 debut. Great! Agnes FTW!

Regina Brett

I go this from my friend Princess Kymie and totally love every bit of it. Simplicity never seems so meaningful. I've always loved quotes about life, that's why I usually post meaningful quotes on my facebook status most of the time.

I think this lady is cool.

Written By Regina Brett, 90 53 years old, of The Plain Dealer,
Cleveland , Ohio

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written."
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.

4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.

5. Pay off your credit cards every month.

6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.

8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.

9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.

10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.

11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.

12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.

13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.

15 Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.

16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.

17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.

18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.

19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.

20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.

21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.

23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.

24. The most important sex organ is the brain.

25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.

26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'

27. Always choose life.

28. Forgive everyone everything.

29. What other people think of you is none of your business.

30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.

31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.

32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

33. Believe in miracles.

34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.

35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.

36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.

Just For Fun

LOL

Rectum Stretcher

While she was flying down the road yesterday. A woman passed over a bridge only to find a cop with a radar gun on the other side lying in wait.

The cop pulled her over. walked up to the car. With that classic patronizing smirk we all know and love. asked whats your hurry?

To which she replied. I'm late for work.

Oh yeah. Said the cop. What do you do?

I'm a rectum stretcher. She responded.

The cop stammered. A WHAT?

A rectum stretcher?

And just what does a rectum stretcher do?

Well. She said. I start by inserting one finger. Then work my way up to two fingers. Then three. Then four. Then with my whole hand in. I work from side to side until I can get both hands in. And then I slowly but surely stretch it. Until its about 6 feet wide.

And just what the hell do you do with a 6 foot asshole? he asked.

You give him a radar gun and park him behind a bridge.

Traffic ticket $95.
Court costs $45.
Look on the cops face priceless.

HAHA...

Celebrities Ice Cream? Yum! =P

Anyone wants 007 for an ice cream? Any ice cream is good ice cream.

"The Daniel Craig smoothie lollies are blueberry, pomegranate and cranberry flavoured and under 100 calories each."

Now I'm wondering whether are there any other famous faces that can be licked and sucked on?

My suggestions..

Lady Gaga - I want to taste Gaga's Poker Face. LOL

Hugh "Wolverine" Jackman

James Franco - Please please please come in MILK flavor ice cream.

Chad White - Vanilla Chocolate please.. Love the pic with the glasses. Nerdy + Hot!

Kylie Minogue
Lil Hot Ms Petite.. La la la...

I think that's about enough. I can go on forever. I think I better stop here. LOL

Kings of Leon

Kings of Leon's 2nd single from their fab album One By The Night,
Use Somebody
is one of my favorite songs of all time. Sex on Fire is great. But Use Somebody is Amazing!
The vocal for the song is hauntingly beautiful. It feels so raw and honest. Like it can really connect to me in some way. I don't really know how to express why this song made such an impression on me. I just love it to bits.

Kings of Leon performed this song at MTV Movie Awards '09.

How do you like it?

Comolot

Comolot, supposedly Malaysia 1st Gay Themed Short Movie.

Mua's verdict as a fan of gay themed movies?

WTF!!!

Here is the full movie.. only 8mins.. Not much dialogue and seriously.. what kinda storyline is this? Erghh.. Doesn't even bring up any important topic other than the fact one of the dude is running away from his responsibility. Moral of the story is....

Girls, hati-hati sikit with your tunang, pastikan dia tu straight kalau tak, dia mungkin akan larikan diri bersama pakwe dia pada upacara bersanding.

(Girls, please make sure that your supposedly fiance is straight before anything gets worst from there such as he might eloped during the wedding day)

Kenalah bagi sikit komen in Malay since it's a local. Buatan Malaysia la kan.

No wonder I don't watch locally produced drama.

People, tell me what you think of this *cough* short movie *cough*

Since we're talking about gay themed short films, one of my particular favorite got to be Thirteen or so Minutes.

Here's d trailer I got from youtube.

The dialogue is honest, sweet and sincere. Script is just GREAT. I love both of the characters. Great acting by the actors. *Salute* Plus I personally think the movie is helpful for those who is confused with their sexuality.
A MUST WATCH!
