Paolo Nutini

One of my faves artist, Paolo Nutini is back with a new album..
Sunny Side Up!

Paolo, Oh Paolo, Last Request is one of my faves song of all time.
Fell in love with it when I heard it the first time over some local TV channel here. And its been my caller ring tone for few years and still counting; entertaining everyone who gives me a call.
Ah.. Been loving the easy breezy feel of your 1st album These Streets, and upon discovering your song Million Faces on one of the episodes of Grey's Anatomy is just great~

Here is the video for Last Request
Paolo Nutini - Last Request

Now I can't wait for the new stuff, Candy is not your typical song but the vocal is still hauntingly beautiful. After a few spin, I think I like it more. =)
I'm a heartless man at worst, babe
And a helpless one at best
Sunny Side Up, Coming right Up~

Oh, I prefer the old hairstyle more..

Jumper

30th May 09, Saturday, Out to lunch with CW, had Yee Mee.

Watched Jumper which starred Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson. A Jumper = having the ability to teleport themselves from one place to another. Not that impressed with the storyline cos it kinda sucks. The ending sucks. The action sequences where the fighting while teleporting is the only thing nice about this movie.

Now, I'm planning to finish up Into the Wild. Hope its good. +)

Oh, here is something that I love.

:) This video made my day~ LOL

Gaga Vs Zouk

It's been quite a while I've been to clubbin'. But yesterday night at Zouk KL for a Lady Gaga event is a total FAB nite! Ahhh... The crowd is a great mix of foreigners and local. Male female ratio is evenly distributed. Good~ Music is great. Most of the songs have been in my playlist before. I kinda enjoyed it. I have the same great taste with the DJ. LOL.

Seriously, I like Zouk, I ♥ Gaga. What a great Nite. I ♥ clubbin~
p.s. There are eye candy everywhere. I stopped counting after 10. Lol. Ahhh.. Heaven..

Oh, highlight of the nite gotta be the part where one of the faux Gaga came to me and told us that we're supposedly "the best dance group" =) (bet the other faux Gagas' said the same thing to other groups also) and presented us with the Gaga stickers and have a photo taken by a Pro Photog. Now I gotta find the photo. Lol. Feels so good when finally someone notices you for your energy on the dance floor. LOL

Here is photo of the supposedly memorabilia.

Cuteeee.... A bit crumbly cos I put it in my pants afterwards..

What a great night!!!! Rm70 well spent!

And the buzzkill for the nite gotta be the Drunk incident, not me.. mua's bestie.. aiyoyo.. not gonna rant about it here.. cos it's kinda embarassing.. LOL..

Oh, speaking about Gaga, the new vids for Paparazzi is out. Loves it. Gaga Rocks! ♥♥♥♥♥

Rob Thomas

Got this from Towleroad.

An excellent piece by Matchbox Twenty singer Rob Thomas at the Huffington Post on marriage equality:

"I've heard it said before, many times, that if two men or two women are allowed to join into a civil union together, why can't they be happy with that and why is it so important that they call it marriage? In essence, what's in a name?...A civil union has to do with death. It's essentially a document that gives you lower taxes and the right to let your faux spouse collect your insurance when you pass away. A marriage is about life. It's about a commitment. And this argument is about allowing people to have the right to make that commitment, even if it doesn't make sense to you. Anything else falls under the category of 'separate but equal' and we know how that works out."

And I wonder why I love Matchbox Twenty so much.

Bent, If You're Gone, Unwell and Push is sooooo GOOD! Oh, Little Wonders too.

Now he's back with a new single. Her Diamonds.

Can't wait for the new stuff.

Street Fighter 4

OMFG! My favourite fighting game is back! I know its out like for a while already.. but I don't own a PS3 or Xbox360.. No $$$ so all I can do is to wait for my friends to get it and then scoot over to his place to test it out. I used to play Street Fighter EX Plus α on my PSone. Gameplay is significantly faster (during that time, 01) Love every single minute of it.

My favourite characters are Ken, Chun-Li, Sakura and Akuma. LOL.

BTW, I'm seriously addicted to this song I'm listening right now..

Wale ft Lady Gaga - Chillin'
But this version from youtube is the original one. No Gaga. I prefer the Gaga version more.

And this is another song that deserve to be #1, heard it the 1st time on Röyksopp's Junior album and instantly fell in love with it. ♥♥♥

Röyksopp - The Girl and The Robot (feat Robyn).

8 For Hate?

Seriously, I know, what do I care? I don't even live in US.
But people.. Religion have nothing to do with equality.
I really hate the fact people are using religion to spread hate.

Love is Love.

Need to take some time off with all this crap.

Need lots of good songs to cheer me up.

Here is one interesting pic..

I guess they haven't learn anything from the past huh?

Passion Pits

I usually listen to the current hits like Top 40. I don't think this band is gettin' much exposure yet but it's really good. I totally dig the party feel of the songs and the ElectroPop genre.

Passion Pits - Little Secrets

Passion Pits - The Reeling

Passion Pits - Sleepyhead

This is my wake up alarm ringtone. LOL

Interesting Quiz

An engineering professor is treating her husband, a loan officer, to dinner for finally giving in to her pleas to shave off the scraggly beard he grew on vacation. His favorite restaurant is a casual place where they both feel comfortable in slacks and cotton/polyester-blend golf shirts. But, as always, she wears the gold and pearl pendant he gave her the day her divorce decree was final. They're laughing over their menus because they know he always ends up diving into a giant plate of ribs but she won't be talked into anything more fattening than shrimp.

Quiz: How many biblical prohibitions are they violating?

Well, wives are supposed to be 'submissive' to their husbands (I Peter 3:1). And all women are forbidden to teach men (I Timothy 2:12), wear gold or pearls (I Timothy 2:9) or dress in clothing that 'pertains to a man' (Deuteronomy 22:5).
Shellfish and pork are definitely out (Leviticus 11:7, 10) as are usury (Deuteronomy 23:19), shaving (Leviticus 19:27) and clothes of more than one fabric (Leviticus 19:19).
And since the Bible rarely recognizes divorce, they're committing adultery, which carries the rather harsh penalty of death by stoning (Deuteronomy 22:22).

So why are they having such a good time? Probably because they wouldn't think of worrying about rules that seem absurd, anachronistic or - at best - unrealistic. Yet this same modern-day couple could easily be among the millions of Americans who never hesitate to lean on the Bible to justify their own anti-gay attitudes. ~Deb Price, And Say Hi To Joyce

FYI, I'm not a Christian. Just thought that LOTS of people are using Bible to spread Hate.
