GaGa in Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland 3D is pretty much..... okay? Seriously, it's not that great, but it's not that bad either. 3D or not, it's still the same, I can't see much of the 3D effect in that movie, I doubt there's anything wrong with my eyes ;) Avatar 3D still hold the best 3D movie title for now.

I am not that impressed with the storyline but I love the graphic though, it's very colorful. Yup, colorful. That's all. Depp is fantastic as always, but I think Helena Bonhem Carter kinda outshine him this time. The Red Queen are hilarious, "off with her head!" Anyone? Wait a sec, didn't I see this pairing in Sweeney Todd? That god awful musical. Ergh~ I don't dig it, not my kinda thang. Mandy, you are free to comment away~~~ I have to mention that I love Pirates of Caribbean and Willy Wonka though :)

While I was reading PerezHilton.com, I saw this video. GaGa in Wonderland? For real? I know I have to watch it.

LOL. As much as I love Johnny Depp, I have to admit that Sweeney Todd is one of the weaker films he's ever been in, though I wouldn't call it 'god-awful', haha. But that's just me. :)

Frankly speaking, I prefer him in movies from the earlier days of his career e.g. Ed Wood, Donnie Brasco, Edward Scissorhands, What's Eating Gilbert Grape. The more recent roles/films he's tackled are more appealing to the masses (either funny ones, big-budget blockbusters or visually appealing ones like Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Pirates,Alice, and yep, Sweeney Todd). The most recent movies he was involved in that I really, truly enjoyed were 'Corpse Bride', 'Finding Neverland' and to a certain extent, 'Public Enemies' which I thought was overhyped.

I've yet to catch 'Alice', though, so can't say anything about it for now. :)

Sorry for the long comment but since I was mentioned in the entry, I've got to give back. ;)

Mandy: Bagi aku jer, I suka sangat long comments. LOL. I still can't stomach Sweeney Todd, Hairspray is way superior.

What about Chocolat? I remember he's in the movie. I would love to hear/read what you think about Alice. I really do think that Gaga in Wonderland would be much more awesome. Hahahaha. Whatdya think of that trailer? LOL

Chocolat was a pretty good film. I enjoyed it but found his character to be quite forgettable. Just okay.

The trailer's fine but ehm, nope, don't think I'd be up for an entire film featuring Gaga. She's already everywhere! :)

Glad I wasn't the only one who wasn't blown away by the film -- and I so desperately wanted to be, as I'm such a Johnnyfangirl.

I didn't opt to see it in 3D because the 3D was too expensive for the friend I went with. Admission was $12.50 to begin with then you add prices for food and I don't blame her for saying so. Good to hear we didn't miss out on much.

Blechhh. Johnny always has a way of freaking me out and intriguing me at the same time.

Mandy: I guess that is a statement that shows you are living in this world right now, thank God Mandy. Kakimu masih bertapak di dunia ni. LOL.

Mel: Hi Mel, meet Mandy~ Hi Mandy, meet Mel, she's a Depp freak too. LOL.

Thank you for saying that, sometimes I think my friend got deluded into the role of a movie critic, he brush my opinion as someone who only love movie with happy ending. Grr.

I hate it when people tell me, "It's Tim Burton and Johnny Depp! It's gotta be good" these past few days when they me about the movie. Gahhh, don't give me that Sh*t! hahaha.

BTW, Avatar 3D > Alice 3D visual-wise, both the story is (meh)~ Hahaha...
